Six months ago today, 5 young girls sadly lost their lives in a tragic fire at an escape room in Poland. The escape room in Poland was poorly designed, from a safety standpoint, and the room was only remotely monitored. Concerned over that room's safety was voiced by previous players yet no one did any thing to correct the issues and avoid the tragedy that occurred. We will not be running any escape rooms today to honour their memory. At Let Me Out, in addition to fire extinguishers, a no smoking policy, and multiple emergency escape routes, we also have direct and constant monitoring of the escape room during our games. We take the threat of fire seriously and ensure your escape room play is as safe as possible.

Escape Room tip of the day - "Don't over think it". If you find yourself getting into more and more obscure theories about the solution to a particular puzzle, then chances are you’re over-complicating it. Often younger children will see the solution to a puzzle when the adults are still struggling with it. Children have less life experiences and therefore fewer preconceived ideas about how things should work. Sometimes it helps to see the world through the eyes of a child rediscover that feeling of awe and wonder. #Orangeville #escaperoom #thingstodo #stufftodo
