About Us
Rawhide Adventures Inc. works out of Peace Valley Ranch Ltd., a working
cattle ranch located 20 minutes North of Shelburne, just outside of Honeywood. We offer a variety of horseback riding activities such as private trail rides, cattle drives, overnight camp outs, western riding lessons, and horse training. We are also a horse boarding facility for trail riding enthusiasts! 
Our private trail rides are for any level of rider, from beginner to advanced, we have a horse that suits everyone! We do private rides only; so no-nose-to-tail riding and there is no minimum number of guests, if you are just one person looking for a ride then we will take out just you! You must book in advance and we are flexible at booking a time that works the best for you. Give us a call or shoot us an email today!
We also offer the following packages:
Cowboy-Up: 2 hour ride with a meal back at the Ranch
Wrangler's Day: 4 hour ride with a meal back at the Ranch
Range Rider's Night: Package includes riding, campfire dinner, sleep under the stars, hearty ranch breakfast
A Day in the Life of: Package includes the option to stay on the ranch, ride and relax OR work ride and relax
Riding Lessons: ages 10 and up, specializing in resolving adult riding fears
Custom Outings: 40th+ birthday parties, Stags/Stagettes, Proposals and Anniversaries
We also offer a variety of Horse Boarding options. Our focus is connecting (and sometimes re-connecting) owners with their horses in a safe, focused, and fun environment. With horse trainers on site, we can offer the support that you need to achieve your goals with your horse.
Pasture Board:
With large fields and ample grazing and water, your horse will have access to some of our great facilities and our unique manner of horse management.
$300* per month (plus HST)

- Feeding*: We supply hay (round bale in the winter) and rotational grazing (spring & summer & fall) ample fresh water
- Use of the Arena
- Use of the Corral, Sand Ring or Round Pen
- Use of Ranch Trails
Horse Sitting / Winter Board:
Picture it as Horse-Sitting while you get away to your winter destination with total peace of mind that your horse is being well cared for!
$200* per month (plus HST)
What's included
- Fabulous large loafing barn with a self feed water station
- Feeding*: We supply hay (round bale in winter) and rotational grazing (spring & summer & fall)
- 4 acre and 8 acre grazing fields
Retirement Board:
What a way to spend your retirement years but in great grazing fields with a loafing barn for shelter from all kinds of weather.
$200* per month (plus HST)
If you have 8 horses, you can lease the whole space for your horses $1,000* per month (plus HST)

Layup Board:
We have room for horses who need time and space. We consider this short term boarding for horse (like race horses) who need time-off for whatever reason.
