Prince Puppies

2 years ago, The trip to Shelbourne started out (as far as I knew) as a Thanksgiving Monday drive. On the way, my Hubby told me he'd been researching for and found a puppy for our Son with Autism. We don't qualify for a service dog, so we thought we'd create our own. Iain was to be completely surprised. Keep in mind, we are first time Dog Owners. And he was! On arrival, Ruth was out front of a lovely, well kept farm-style home with 2 Female Adult Retrievers and a number of adorable fluffy happy puppies. They were very responsive, both to Ruth and the "Mother" Retrievers. We were given pointers, relaxed advice, detailed information as to their vaccinations. They'd been introduced to vehicles, grooming and were up to date with all their shots. From Day/Night 1, Octavius Augustus (Tavi) fit into our little Family immediately. He was already House Trained. He didn't cry through the night. He was and still is SO EASY to train! He LOVES to train! And he L O V E S us - it is reciprocal! He is perfectly docile with us and others - he has been appropriately protective (but not aggressive) of our son and myself on 2 separate occasions. He is super social with all breeds and ages of dogs and other family pets. If you are looking for a Puppy that has had the best introduction to life before you become the Forever Home, you've found the right place!
