Kid-Approved (Healthy) Chocolate Pancakes
Ingredients • 1 scoop of Whole Earth & Sea Organic Fermented Protein & Greens, natural chocolate flavour • 2 eggs • 1 ripe banana • 1/3 cup rolled oats • 1 Tbsp organic, raw, unsweetened cacao powder • ½ tsp cinnamon • 3 Tbsp oat milk (or preferred milk of choice) • 2–3 tsp coconut oil, more as needed
Instructions First add the eggs, banana, and oats to the blender. Blend on low for 15–20 seconds, until the bananas are fully mashed. Then add the Whole Earth & Sea Protein and Greens chocolate powder, cacao powder, and cinnamon. Blend again on low for another 30–60 seconds, until smooth. Add the oat milk to create your desired consistency – I typically use 3 tablespoons. Preheat a griddle or skillet to medium heat and melt 2–3 teaspoons of coconut oil. Pour or scoop ¼ cup of batter onto the preheated griddle and using the back of the ladle, swirl the batter slightly to increase the size of the pancake. Cook until bubbles form and edges look cooked, about 3 minutes. Flip pancakes and cook through, another 1–2 minutes. Serve with fresh bananas, strawberries, maple syrup, and grass-fed butter, or whatever your heart (or kids) desire!
