Genesis Interiors & Home Décor, recently renamed is an innovative retail store front and 'one stop shopping' facility for retail, residential, commercial and marine decorating and design projects. This is the brain storm and childhood vision of a local, certified interior decorator, Margo Young.

In addition to complete decorating, design, and home sale preparation services, genesis interiors & home decor offers very unique products, services, furnishings, accessories, art and giftware for bath, kitchen, bedrooms, living rooms, gardens, etc..We specialize in equine giftware and home decor. In addition, there is jewellery, purses,lamps,furniture and unique giftware. The retail gallery provides a unique environment where clients can have a coffee and browse through magazines, fabric books, etc. to discuss decorating and design concepts , furnishings, finishes, and industry products with professionals who offer services both in-store and in-home that the consumer would not typically find at the box stores. Our designers often work with many local artisans creating one of a kind, unique products. Small room vignettes provide visual concepts . This is a place where one can make dreams come true for any size project at any budget from Volkswagen to Rolls Royce!

We offer in-store complimentary decorating advice or you can book an in- home consultation with one of our decorators.   We are a team of independent decorators, designers and trades who are passionate about what we do. We carry affordable and beautiful giftware, jewelery, original art, accessories, furniture and home decor items. We specialize in Equine giftware. We offer competitive and affordable services and goods.

We are also a resource centre for other decorators and designers and trade.  We have an extensive library of fabrics, catalogues, lighting, flooring, tiles, special finishes and samples.
