Butcher furniture is a great place but be very wary of buying anything Palliser. It is crap. Bought 2 electric recliners and had to have one restuffed within the first 2 years and not the electric does not work on one. Paid over $2000. The one we had restuffed is now splitting at the seam. Will never buy Palliser ever again.

Very disappointed with the Hillsburg store. Wanted to return a manufacturer defective reclining love seat and had to pay the restocking fee! Stuffing missing in parts of the back and the recline back was not level and lopsided.

Disappointed to discover that I bought a coffee table and end tables thinking they are Canadian made.. to find a China stamp on the bottom.
You may want to change your advertising especially the first sentence on your website.

On a visit to Butcher's I casually commented that although the sofa I had purchased almost a year prior was of great quality, I was not as fond of it as I thought I would be. To my surprise, the sales rep said "You can return it. We'll pick it up." To say I was shocked would be an understatement. The cost was a reasonable re-stocking fee. I have told this story to others looking for good quality furniture from a company who's service cannot be beat. I'm a fan for life. (Please note; my home is smoke/pet free and the sofa was in immaculate condition.)

Butcher Furniture is an excellent place to buy high quality furniture. Scott and the staff are amazing people; they let you shop without pestering but they make themselves available if you have questions. We bought two couches and a matching chair; the quality on all products was exceptional. Marv (the owner) personally delivered the furniture free of charge and he and his co-worker did the set up in our home to our total satisfaction. We had been looking for over a year to find a couch that was high quality and reasonably priced and decided to go to Butcher Furniture in Orangeville on a whim. We have now found the place to purchase in the future. Great store, great quality furniture, great service........no reason to go anywhere else to buy.

Our family moved in December and I knew I needed a new couch for our living room. Our previous couches we handmedowns and lower quality and I wanted to buy a couch that could be with our family for a long time. One trip to the Butcher’s in Orangeville and Scott had me all sorted out. He is super knowledgable and took into consideration the needs of our young family - durability, comfort, style and stayed with our budget. Even with a 2.5 year old in tow Scott and everyone at Butcher’s made the shopping experience stress free. Not to mention the delivery and set up at my home in Toronto was quick and easy too! We love our couch so much — thank you!!!!

I’ve been to both locations. Great customer service at either store and great quality service. You can causually look around without being pressured however they are always happy to serve. Have been pleased with every purchase I have made and looking forward to making a few more! Highly, highly recommend!!!

We ordered a Simmons design (2 loveseats). Sat on the sample in the showroom and it was comfortable. It arrived after 4 long months. It feels like sitting on a picnic bench !!!! Over $3,ooo down the drain.

My mother, who isn't up on technology, wanted me to write and tell you how very pleased she was with the service she got from Butcher's. A gentleman there went above and beyond, going to her house to replace a handle that had broken, even though the product was about 15 years old. You have her thanks and ours. She also loves how tastefully your store is set up. A feast for the eyes I believe is how she worded it...

Went to the Orangeville location and couldn't be happier. Started with great service. We had all of our questions answered and ended up buying a fantastic couch that not only is incredibly comfortable but also looks great. That great service continued right through to when the couch was delivered. There is a tight turn right when you enter out home and the delivery crew did a great job navigating through it. From the start of the process to the finish we had a great experience.

We moved to Hillsburgh in 1978 and went to Butcher's to purchase our living room furniture. We were very impressed with the service we received. We have bought many other pieces since then and have never been disappointed. When we had a problem they came immediately and fixed it. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for furniture or accessories.

We have been very very long time customer at least over 25years. Customer service is the best ever never any problems. I love that they deliver and set up and don't leave until you are happy (sometimes that takes a bit hey Marvin). The other thing is that you never get new furniture because their's last forever. Small town big time service. I also have my kids shopping there. So take a few minutes out of your busy day and drop into Butchers Furniture Hillsburgh or Orangeville nothing ever stays the same.
